Light Painting - Light Streaking 7 - Green Smoke

This example of light streaking was done just as the one from yesterday, but using a green laser pointer.  When doing light painting, it is good to experiment with different sources of light.  The thickness of the beam and the color brings new effects to your picture.  Experimentation with your different light sources can lead you into finding the right style suited for you.  I hope you enjoyed this week of light streaking!  Tomorrow, I will be starting on the illumination technique that is apart of light painting. If you have any questions about light streaking, please feel free to leave a comment.

Light Painting - Light Streaking 6 - Falling Light

With this example of light streaking, I took an ordinary flashlight and, with the lamp off, I dragged the flashlight down repeatedly to make it look like the light in the lamp was pouring out.
