This is an example of having a shutter speed that is too slow. The subject of this picture is the necklace pendant swinging. What I was trying to do was to capture the necklace mid air with blur behind it. Instead, the camera took the picture too late because of the exposure time I set. In order to have gotten the result I wanted, I could have either set a faster exposure time or moved the necklace slower.
